On March 3, the Mother’s Day the “«Iavnana»” Foundation hosted its traditional charity action. The education fees of 23 students were partly funded and several students of 5 universities were proclaimed the Foundation scholarship winners. On the same day, the salon named after Mr. Paata Burchuladze, the “«Iavnana»” Founder was opened. Mr. David Aladashvili, a successful Georgian pianist played pieces by Chopin. He was a first distinguished student who supported by “«Iavnana»” Foundation was admitted to the Julliard school of music in NY in 2007. The charity action also involved Anita Rachvelishvili, the world-renowned Georgian soprano and an “«Iavnana» Friend” Messrs. Giorgi Gagnidze, Otar Jorjikia, Nino Katamadze and Mariam Nachkebia.
Mr. Guram Dochanashvili, one of the most popular Georgian authors presented his autographed books to the students.
