The Khvedelidze’s live in the village of Leliani, Lagodekhi region. Nino Rusiashvili and Zviad Khvedelidze, her husband former alumni of the orphanage in the town of Lagodekhi find it hard to support their 5 children so much so that the oldest, Gaga Rusiashvili has been a foster child since 2010. The situation is complicated by Nino’s disability: her poor vision makes her unfit for work, so she stays at home. Her husband’s salary is hardly enough to support them all. They live in a decrepit house: the leaky roof and cracked walls makes it impossible to keep the house warm. In the “Iavanna’s” New Year charity event, Mr. Ako Akhalaia and “Marketer” company donated 116.5 GEL, which made it possible for the family to start renovation.
