The revenue of the concert is going to be transferred to Otar Taktakishvili Art School in the Orkhevi district, Tbilisi. The school has a girls’ band of wind instruments, the only of its kind in Georgia, as well as a regular orchestra.
The alumni of the school are now with the several Georgian Symphonic Orchestras, the Tbilisi Big Band, with 11 of them engaged with a Military Band supported by “Iavnana” over the last 4 years.
The “Iavnana” Foundation Board resolved to send Tsotne Zedginidze, composer and a pianist to Brussels to attend a performance of his choice at the Opera Theater in 2020. The Foundation will cover his travel costs.
